Surfcamp in Marocco

in Escape by

I really wanted to learn how to surf for a long time – but there was no opportunity – till now. A friend of me Jacky (whaelse.com) asked me to visit Marocco and do a surf course. Last year we already talked about surfing and going to a surfcamp – but it hasn’t worked out.

But now she asked me to come with her and really had amazing arguments:

  1. Surfing
  2. Marocco

So for sure i said YES YES YES !!!

Jacky started in Berlin and me in Munich – we both had a three hour flight. Then we met in Madrid and took the airplane to Marrakesh – again two hours.

Our surfcamp is close to Agadir but the flights to this city have been so expensive – we decided to fly to Marrakesh and take the bus to Agadir. A three hour ride – which is on the one hand not very comfortable but on the other hand – you can see a lot of the landscape and gather lots of impressions.

I’m really looking forward to see the culture and the people. It has always been one of my dream destinations so i really hope i still love it after i have seen some parts of Marocco. And also i’m so excited about the surfing – can i really ride a wave?

The next week will be like that: Yoga in the morning then breakfast afterwards lots of surfing and for Jacky and me – we have to do lots of outfit shootings. Also there are some activities like: going to the markets and visiting Agadir, Hamam and riding a Quad or a Jetski. But we will see how we shape our days exactly.

Have a look at the first impressions from the bus ride from Marrakesh to Agadir:
